Recently, Archaeological Solutions (AS) Directors Tom and Claire have become increasingly conscious regarding provision for the future of AS, principally its staff and clients. We at AS have worked very successfully with Wardell Armstrong on projects in recent years, and the companies share common values and aspirations. As of October 2020, Wardell Armstrong acquired the business and assets of Archaeological Solutions Ltd.
Wardell Armstrong are a multi-disciplinary environmental, engineering and mining consultancy, and our two like-minded businesses coming together provides a great opportunity to collectively strengthen and develop our archaeological services and extend the range of available investigations within one company. The move is part of Wardell Armstrong’s plans to grow its existing archaeological and heritage team and expand services in the UK and Internationally.
This now makes Wardell Armstrong one of the UK’s largest suppliers of archaeological services.
The AS management team including Claire Halpin, Tom McDonald and Jon Murray have joined Wardell Armstrong, along with the entire AS staff, and as such you will experience little change. Our commitment to you, and the aim to maintain an excellent service remain the same. Please do continue to contact us in the way you always have.
We will keep you updated in the coming months with further news about the new situation, and of course welcome any questions or comments you may have about this change.
COVID-19 Update: AS remains fully operational despite the impact of Coronavirus. Our offices are all attended and report writing is being undertaken with staff working from home. We are maintaining our field team and fulfilling the needs of our clients, while operating under safe conditions in accordance with government advice and CLC SOP.
