What We Do
Excavation at Thremhall Priory, Essex. The excavation revealed the remains of a large medieval building, most likely to have been part of the priory complex. Excavation beneath the footings of the 18th century house, which this photo shows, revealed foundations of an earlier building which appeared to post date the Dissolution of the Priory in 1536.
