AS recently completed post-excavation work on the project at Black Horse Farm, Sawtry, Cambridgeshire. This project, comprising two phases of excavation, revealed a middle to late Iron Age landscape containing six Roundhouse structures, huge enclosure ditches and evidence for farming activities.

From August 2004 to January 2005, AS carried out an archaeological excavation on land adjacent to Great Casterton Primary School in Rutland. The excavation site lay to the east of a Roman fort and to the north of the Roman town, which was established by the late 1st century.

Bridge House Dairy in Mildenhall is a large two acre site located just south of the River Lark. The site was located on the remains of a 1950’s dairy which had undergone demolition and was awaiting redevelopment.

In Spring 2008, AS carried out an excavation ahead of housing development in Marham, a village near King’s Lynn in Norfolk.
